ConTempo RC
2014 16.2 Holsteiner Gelding USEF# 5328640 Sire: Contento Dam: Rhythm Tempo is an attractive, large horse with extensive training and low show miles.
Tempo began his career as a hunter-jumper as he has an attractive trot and ground covering canter. He has successfully completed low-courses over fences. Recently, he has been in a dressage program with an adult amateur overseen by USDF Gold, Silver and Bronze medalist, Bob Chapeski. Tempo is lovely to ride. He enjoys his work and is smooth. His flatwork is excellent as he has correct, impressive gaits, is responsive to the aids, and consistently tries to please. For those interested in his jumping, he performs auto changes. He would make an interesting choice as an equitation horse or hunter, with his big, easy, and slow stride that covers a lot of ground. Previously coming to the Chapeski's Dressage program, Tempo has had a couple of years of light jumping experience with a beginner rider, and he’s been to a handful of schooling shows, where he took Champion at 2’3. Before that, he spent some time in a field due to his owner’s financial situation but did get consistent flatwork and trail riding. Tempo can be a bit cautious with new fences and may take a moment to look and stop the first time he encounters them. However, once he’s seen it, he’s fine. He’s good in the turnout, peacefully living with others. He has been sound from day 1, and we have full x-rays from a recent pre-purchase exam that we're happy to share. There are no soundness issues, though he does have flat feet that we pad during the harder months. Florence, Montana $25,000 |
